Late 19th Century Australian Cedar Partners Desk, with a green leather writing surface featuring gold and blind tooling, inside a nicely figured crossbanded cedar surround. The desk is fitted with 8 drawers to the front and 2 cupboards to the rear. Made by Bennet & Son, Cabinetmakers of Melbourne, and bearing their stamp to the edges of the doors.
All drawers work smoothly, pine secondary timber.
