Mid 19th Century Colonial Australian Cedar Secretaire, standing on turned feet with inset arched panel doors, flanked by tapering architectural columns. The secretaire section fitted with six small drawers and six pigeonholes, with a maroon leather writing surface.

No labels surviving but we confidently attribute this piece to Sydney cabinetmaker, John Hill.
