Pair of George III Period Cutlery/Knife Boxes featuring serpentine fronts in matching figured Cuban mahogany, with boxwood & ebony stringing and silver escutcheons. Both boxes retain their original interiors which also feature boxwood & ebony inlay. The insides of the lids are both decorated with boxwood & ebony stars. Most likely of Scottish origin.
In excellent condition with working locks & keys.
