Antique Cedar Chest - made in West Maitland

Large 19th Century Australian Cedar Chest of 7 Drawers, featuring two hat drawers and two shallow drawers, above three full width drawers, standing on turned feet. Lovely original knobs with unusual brass escutcheons. Made by Norman & Broomfield of West Maitland, NSW (stencil to rear).
Full cedar construction. Good 19th century finish with lovely colour and warm patina. (The close-up of the knobs shows the truest colour of the drawer fronts.) All drawers work smoothly and all drawer runners have been repaired to our usual high standards.
