19th Century Australian Cedar and Marquetry Inlaid Bookcase, primarily of Australian cedar, with rose mahogany, Australian blackwood and assorted other specimen timbers. The upper section with two arched panel doors fitted with original hand drawn glass flanked by architectural columns with carved corbels, the doors enclosing a bookcase with two adjustable shelves.The pediment features dentil moulding with marquetry highlights. The lower section has a single frieze drawer above the two arched panel doors also flanked by architectural columns.
19th century finish, in very nice condition. A very unusual and unique bookcase, made by a skilled cabinetmaker.
