**  SOLD  **

Early 20th Century Australian Cedar Chest of Eight Drawers, made by the legendary Sydney firm, Anthony Hordern & Sons. A very good example from this historically significant store. Anthony Horderns was once the biggest department store in Sydney, selling a vast array of goods and also well known for their printed catalogues.

Lovely old finish with good colour and patina. All drawers work smoothly and all drawer runners have been repaired to our usual high standards. Very good overall condition with no splits or cracks. Some wear marks to top surface consistent with age. Some pine secondary timber.
