**  SOLD  **

19th Century Australian Cedar Bookcase by Henry Jones & Son of Parramatta, the upper section featuring arched panel doors with original drawn glass, enclosing three original adjustable shelves, the lower section featuring two inset panel doors.

Very well made and in very good overall condition, all doors work smoothly, doors are lockable with keys. Almost certainly made for a government department.

The abbreviation D A & Q M G on the left hand doors stands for Deputy Adjutant and Quartermaster General (First World War), indicating it was used by the Australian Army during WWI. See https://www.awm.gov.au/learn/glossary/d
