**  SOLD  **

Very good quality 19th Century Australian Cedar Chest of seven Drawers, featuring nicely figured, matching solid cedar drawer fronts, with a lovely set of 10 brazilian rosewood knobs, all resting on a plinth base. We were unable to find any makers identification marks, but this chest was definitely made by a very good cabinetmaker.

Full cedar construction, nice original 19th century finish, with good colour and patina. This piece shows little fading to the polished finish (has lead a charmed life!), with limited exposure to sunlight. All drawers work smoothly and all drawer runners have been repaired to our usual high standards.
