19th Century Australian Cedar Cantilevered Chest of Seven Drawers, by William Sloan & Son of West Maitland. (one label to rear and one label in the top right hat drawer) The chest is in superb original condition with original finish showing great colour and patina, all original knobs which have mother of pearl inserts. It stands on turned feet with bobbin turned columns to either side.
A very good quality piece, full cedar construction. The drawer runners have been very skilfully repaired and work very smoothly.
