Early 20th Century Oak Butterworth's Building-Up Sectional Bookcase, comprising four stacking sections with retractable glass doors. The bookcase bears a brass plaque with the inscription - "Butterworth's Building-Up Bookcase / 180 Phillip St., Sydney, N.S.W. / Patented 7-3-1917. / No. 3408."
