Small 19th Century Australian Cedar 2 Drawer Desk, standing on turned legs with maroon leather inset writing surface, featuring gold and blind tooling and with a crossbanded cedar surround. Government inventory stamp for 1878. Very small proportions for a government desk of that era. Hard to find in this size.
Good old finish, both drawers work smoothly. A very good laptop/computer desk.
