We have a recently purchased a very rare 9 piece set of miniature ivory dolls furniture. All very intricately carved & in beautiful original condition, from the late 19th century.

All antique furniture at The Merchant of Welby has been inspected, cleaned & restored if necessary in our workshop. Great care is used to preserve original finishes where possible & carry out minimal restoration ensuring all drawers, doors & other moving parts work as they should.

We have just received a 19th Century Australian Cedat Bookcase of superb quality. Features beautifully figured cedar to door surrounds as well as the lower door panels. All construction details are best practise, with quality hardware. Original revived finish.
