Very Large Georgian Sheffield Plate Serving Tray, with an engraved floral and leaf design surrounding an armorial crest. The raised border is elaborately decorated with scrolls and foliage with rolled over silver edges. The Latin motto "Spero" means "I hope".

Superbly made piece with silver inlay to the centre area for the armorial crest, in excellent condition. Reverse unfinished. Please note: This piece is true Old Sheffield Plate not electroplated silver.
