19th Century Australian Cedar Blanket Box or Chest in lovely original condition, ex Tamworth NSW, with old address written in pencil under lid " Mr. F. Long. Duncans Creek. Woolomin via Tamworth."

Quite possibly used by a gold prospector in the area at the time.

We list blanket boxes in the table category because they make very useful coffee tables. Low coffee tables were not made in the 19th century.
