An almost identical Breakfront Bookcase is featured on page 184 of “Australian Furniture Pictorial History and Dictionary 1788 – 1938” by Fahy & Simpson. We feel certain that this bookcase is also from the workshop of John Hill Jnr, one of Australia’s foremost cabinetmakers of the 19th Century.
