19th Century Australian Cedar Partners Desk of 8 drawers with 2 cupboards, each with adjustable shelf.

Most drawers bear the stamp of Charles Artlett of Rushcutters Bay, Sydney. Also bears an impressed Government Inventory stamp for May, 1878 with a crown inside the letters VR (for Victoria Regina - Queen Victoria, the former Queen of England & Australia). Green leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling..
