Finely carved Gold & Shell Cameo Pendant in the classical manner with 14ct gold foliate surround. Engraved to rear "50th Night of Cinderella To Mrs Austin Theatre N York. 1831" and internally signed "Deguerre NY 1832".
The locket would have been part of a clasp for a necklace or bracelet, adapted to form a pendant.
